The Broncos wore the 2024 Heritage ‘Diamond Jersey’ in their game against the Cowboys at Suncorp Stadium on Good Friday. Introduced in 1994, the 2024 iteration of the Diamond Heritage Jersey features the all-maroon collar, iconic maroon and gold diamonds and the maroon sleeves with yellow cuffs.
Back in it's day, the Broncos were defending Premiers, ‘Alf’ was Captain, and the once-polarising jersey was the first ‘night strip’, also worn again in 1995, the year North Queensland entered the competition. It was also one of the first and favourite Broncos jerseys of club legend Darren Lockyer, who wore it in his debut year of 1995, alongside the likes of Steve Renouf, Wendell Sailor and Mick Hancock.
