In 2015 Panthers Group announced their collaboration with DefenceCare, part of the RSL NSW, as we commemorate all who served in the defence of our nation for the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli.
This association saw Panthers Group and DefenceCare honour and pay their respects to both past and present Anzacs with a standalone commemorative jersey highlighting the significance of ANZAC Day. In tribute, primary sponsor OAK – Parmalat, along with HERTZ Australia, ASICS, HostPlus and Lion Nathan all unhesitatingly agreed to step down from the jersey and shorts in honour of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Only 3000 of these were ever printed and have become a white whale for Penrith Collectors.
