NRL players donned this specially-designed Canterbury of New Zealand pink playing strip when they faced Newcastle in 2013. Halfback Shaun Johnson and some of his team-mates walso wore one-off pink Lethal Tigreor ASICS boots.
In another feature a special guard of honour flanked the Vodafone Warriors as they ran onto the field, with each player being represented by special women in their lives mothers, wives, partners, sisters, daughters, relatives or friends.
"The Women in League cause is a great opportunity for us to acknowledge all the women involved throughout the club and in the rugby league community," said Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah. "We value their contribution throughout the year but this is one specific time when the NRL puts our women in the spotlight. Its a fantastic idea."
Made by CCC this jersey is marked as L but measures 58cm across the chest (pit to pit), making it more like a XL. This Jersey did have a signature on the front but it has been removed. If it's still shown in some of the images with measurements thats just cause it was pre-removal.
