If you were to combine and Heritage and a Maori Indigenous design together, what would you create. Thats Exactly what the Wahs did in 2013 with the Heritage "Kete" Jersey.
The jersey takes of 2002 Grand final strip and combines them with Harekeke (flax) design represents voyaging, sailing (all of the first peoples initially arriving in New Zealand by sea), navigation and most importantly it represents being bound tightly together - each notch being as important as the other, connections, strength, unity and holding fast.
This Jersey was only worn only 2 times during the year in Round 5 and 25 (credit Charlie from @mtwellington)
Made by CCC this jersey is marked as L and measures 56cm across the chest (pit to pit), making it more like a XL.
