This 1995 world 7's jersey featured in one of my recent Cleaning Chronicles videos where we were able to get out some very long lived tough stains while also help being some of the colours back to life.
This Jersey was modelled after the Wigan warriors strip from a few years earlier, which is pretty funny since they actually played in the same tournament. Also a fun fact is that those double half arches under penfolds are actually the symbol from puma who made the original design. Not sure how Peerless felt about that 🤣.
These jerseys are super rare, and I can near guarantee you'd be only dragons fan on the hill at Kograh in an original.
Made by Peerless this jersey’s size is marked 2XL for size and measures 61cm across the chest (pit to pit), making it true to fit. The condition of this Jersey is great for its age, the only knock on it is a bit of a mark that couldn't be removed on the back of the right shoulder.
